We fucked up our lives !

From Tantum's tribute cd...
It is because a bunch of Basement Apes' bands are related to Tantrum that this is worth mentioning. Spinning Heads and Superstatic Revolution were scheduled to appear before the wind of split got them. Still featuring Membrane, who as for us are one of the most representative of that 90's noise feel dear to Tantrum.

A special myspace page is up for that : http://www.myspace.com/wefuckedupourlives

Prototype records and Trendkill recordings have joined forces together to get this out.

The bands featuring so far are :
Brume Retina
Cortez
Crankset
Do You Compute
Every Reason To...
Geneva
HKY
Josh
Knut
Membrane
Parween
Pord
Quartier Rouge
Sofy Major
Stuntman
The Dawn
We Are The Romans!
Year Of No Light

... to Beamtrap's Practical Weapon :
Worth to be said is that Ben is playing with Mouffi's Goodbye Diana, Chon's Spinning Heads and Fred's Superstatic Revolution in a new project called - for the moment - Practical Weapon, a name coming from the Beamtrap song 'To date we do not have music sufficiently powerful to act as a practical weapon'. So it is said. Also in the works and delayed because of Tantrum's bass player Mimi getting ages to get the artwork done ;) is OUR project of the same long title due out early 2009 - with lots of hope. This journey begun in the summer 2005 with the idea to create a whole album composed and played only by friends belonging to the same scene. People related to each other in some ways. 4 years later, 12 tunes are recorded, mixed and mastered. We hope to give you some up-dates real soon. In the meantine go and have a check to this project history here, sadly not updated.
